Firstly, the composition. I think the positioning of the character itself is quite good as you obviously focus on the character from the first glance. The background is slightly confusing to me and I think it kinda is too overpowering as the background and it clashes with the character in terms of line thickness/sharpness. The perspective is slightly weird in my opinion. A suggestion would be to flip the canvas horizontally whilst painting as you can spot mistakes easily especially with perspective.
Secondly, the color. The color chosen is quite good, choosing a hot color for the character over the cold background makes the character stand out a bit more, which is a good thing. I think the background coloring (the sky) is awesome
I think you have great potential and you will become better in the future. i hope this sort of review is fair and this is just my honest opinion of this piece.
This artwork is just amazing, absoultly flawless. Nothing seems out of balance and the whole thing is just great piece of work. I get a feeling its from an anime I've seen before and I just can't put my finger on it.
There are no faults unless I can count the smudges on my computer then I can give it a worst review. Thank god there isn't any smudges on my computer screen so no faults!
