its a shrine maiden (which called "miko"/ "巫女" in japanese)
the structure behind is called "torii" which separate the normal world and the god's world. for more detail, pls visit wikipedia  and... i just realized that my gallery don have any sunset picture... so... this is my 1st one... it took me long enough to complete this picture... (voice from somewhere: because hoshi-chan is a slacker !!!) aww... anyways hope you like it^^ Daily DeviationGiven 2008-03-08To Another World by =Murasaki-Hoshi is quite simply, beautiful. The true beauty of this piece is found in the little features that are hidden through out the shrine maiden's outfit.
